Stephanie & Bertrand Rooftop Wedding

I've always loved smaller, more intimate weddings because I feel like i get to know the family and friends of the couple better. In the case of Bertrand and Stephanie's wedding, I almost felt like part of the family. Prior to the big day, I didn't know that Stephanie's family speaks Cantonese, like I do. It was such a pleasant surprise, both for myself and for her family, when we all found out that we could also communicate in Chinese!

Their wedding was held at her uncle's beautiful apartment rooftop in Tribeca. Afterwards, we did portraits of the bride and groom in Madison Square Park, with the Flatiron building in the background. We were worried because rain was on the forecast, but I'm so grateful that everything worked out beautifully!
