Nikita & Rob New York Botanical Garden Proposal & Engagement Session

Despite having lived in NYC for the past five years, I’ve never been to the New York Botanical Garden until Rob reached out to me to ask about proposing to his then-girlfriend, Nikita. He told me they were both nature people, so the NYBG would be the perfect spot for the proposal. Because they’re both from out of town, I visited the Azalea Garden, where he planned to propose, the week before to check out the location and figure out the best spot to pop the question.

Despite some miscommunication that happened with the garden regarding the logistics of it all, the proposal went well and she said yes to a future with Rob and also to a stunning ring! Check out the photos below, and hear the story in Nikita’s words on The Knot’s How He Asked! (The link will open in a separate window.)
