Client: Fox Tail at Top Roe, ATX
For Midnite Agency

As the Creative Director for Midnite Agency, I created the branding for Fox Tail, the bar within Top Roe, the first authentic hand roll concept in Austin, TX. While the Top Roe branding has very bright and funky vibes, the owners wanted Fox Tail to feel more elevated.

The logo features an abstract nine-tailed fox, and the design is based on Japanese family crests, called kamon. The brand’s color scheme reflects the traditional art of indigo dyeing and is a more elegant contrast to the bright colors featured in Top Roe’s color palette.

While I did not create the original branding for Top Roe, I have created banners, stickers, window clings, etc. for the restaurant, in addition to working on the branding for Fox Tail.
